Rubber Ducky!
I think Ernie from Sesame Street would definitely enjoy these tasty treats!
The cake is a 12" round chocolate cake, topped with a rubber ducky made with gluten free yellow cake.
I hope mom-to-be and guests are happy!

Chocolate Cookie Dough Experiment
I've had my eye out on several chocolate cookie dough recipes, but have been a little skeptical about how well they would roll out and of course taste. I finally took the challenge using Joyful Baker's recipe. I was really happy with the taste of the cookie. My husband said they tasted just like hot chocolate (I might just have to rename this recipe Hot Chocolate cookies). Rolling out the dough was a little trickier than my usual sugar cookie recipe, as the dough was much harder and rolled out better when it was room temperature. In the end I am excited to add this recipe to my recipe box.
Scandalious Valentine's Day Cookies
How fun are these little treats? My only trouble is who to share these with. Normally I give my practice cookies to my husband to share with the guys he works with at the shop. I'm not sure how comfortable he would be taking these "non mentionables" with him. Nonetheless, the sure do bring a smile to my face!

Happy Birthday Friends!
Ornament Snowmen
All the Christmas decorations are just about down, but every year there always seems be something that gets forgotten. This year, I found a few frozen ornament cookies that I had baked in one of my many midnight cooking marathons. Knowing that if I left them in the freezer until next Christmas, they would be more than freezer burnt, I pulled out one of my favorite snowmen cookie ideas and got busy decorating.
