Hunting for Love!

These cookies just go to show that anything can be "cookied"... that's my favorite term for turning an object into a cookie.  When my friend Colleen asked me to create a cookie for a bride-to-be with a hunting theme, I wasn't exactly sure what route to take. Afterall, I'm not sure a hunting rifle or animal hide scream wedding or bachelorette!  Nonetheless, I am thrilled with these camo style lingerie.

This past Sunday we had a special day, as we celebrated the baptism of our son, Emerson.  It was a wonderful day with family and friends.  I am so happy to have my son be welcomed to our wonderful church!

Mermaids

As the summer heat continues, so do my requests for more fun summer themed cookies.  This week, I added mermaids to my list of fun beach themed cookies.  I just love the colors in these cookies!

Fun in the Sun: Girls' Weekend

Today I'm celebrating how lucky I am to have such an amazing family.  Coming from a large family is a unique and fun experience.  My mom is one of six and I have numerous cousins.  Last year the women in my family started a new tradition of joining together for "Girls' Weekend".  This past weekend, 22 beautiful, talented and amazing women joined together in Cedarsburg, WI to celebrate my grandmother and our spend some quality time together. 

And as if that wasn't enough... Cedarsburg, WI is home of an amazing cookie cutter shop, which I spent quite some time in, adding quite a few new cutters to my collection.

Needless to say, I was asked to make cookies for Girls' Weekend.  Here's what I cam up with for the "Fun in the Sun" theme: sand dollars, sunglasses, margaritas and flamingos.

Gender Reveal Party

One of the latest crazes in welcoming a new baby are Gender Reveal Party.  I wish I had had the energy when I was pregnant to have one of these because they sure are cute.  I recently created these adorable cupcake toppers after being inspired by a party I saw online at Big Dot of Happiness.

Monster Themed 1st Birthday

One of my favorite clients recently celebrated their son's first birthday.  Checkout the monster themed cake and cookies.  The monsters were created based off their own designs.  Both the cake and cookies are gluten free!

Summer Sea Creatures

I've been busy this summer working on so many fun designs.  Many have been some of my old classics like beach balls, sailboats, pineapples and hibiscus flowers. So I was thrilled to add some new designs to the mix.  Checkout the sea horses (they're my favorite)!

So, I got a little behind on my posting, but this was a cake that I enjoyed doing a for an adorable 3 year old girl. I was really excited to do this cake because I went to college with her mom and after 9 years, it was great to reconnect with cake!

So one of my daughter's favorite new words is choo choo. Unfortunately, she's very excited about trains, but also gets pretty nervous around things that move on there own. Luckily this cake doesn't do that.
